Helper function '_setIcon()' does not works properly.

Post by fxwegr » Sun Feb 05, 2017 3:19 pm

Hi Dave,
I have a problem with the _setIcon() function:

On my iPad, when I invoke the TC app, the _setIcon() function starts to set an icon only after expiration of about one minute. After that the function works as expected.

Can I solve the problem myself, or is this a case for the developer?

Hi fxwegr. Thanks for reporting. Yes that problem was found and there is already a new release waiting to be reviewed by Apple that fixes it. It was actually submitted to Apple a ew days ago, and it normally doesn't take this long for them to get to it, so hopefully it will be approved in the next day or so. Sorry for the problems. Once the new release is out, let me know if you continue to have problems.

Thanks,
Dave

The new version of TouchControl with this fix (9.5.1) should now be available in the app store. Thanks.

The two functions now work as they should. At this point: Thank you for your great work! :)
