Re: Command Timeout error

Sorry for not circling back here. Yes, I worked with Tony to determine the problem and fixed that in a release back on 12/5/18.

Thanks!

Re: Local Network / Internet connexion detect

If the app detects that it’s on WiFi it will try to reach the server at startup, but no, the server does not have to be running at all to use the app. If the app fails to find the server it will not affect the use of the app at all. Whether the app uses the LAN or WAN addresses is not dependent on w...

Re: Local Network / Internet connexion detect

Hi typiak84!. Great question - TouchControl should already handle all of this for you! You should only need to do two things: 1) When creating the interface host entry in Interface Manager, specify a WAN port that matches the port you use in the port forwarding in your router for that device. Re: Apple TV IP control

Sorry I have only controlled an Apple TV via IR from TouchControl. Everything I've seen on IP control requires authenticating, pairing, handshaking, etc., all not easily done in TouchControl. I've seen this: https://support.firecore.com/hc/en-us/articles/215090667-3rd-Party-Control-API-AirControl-be...

Re: GC iTach Serial Feedback Questions

I have not yet been able to reproduce this problem. Can you send screen shots of both button config screens to support@touchapptech.com?

Re: GC iTach Serial Feedback Questions

Can you tell me if your GC button (not the feedback client button, but the other one that causes the client button to stop receiving feedback) is configured for feedback?

Also, what GC host device are you using?

Re: GC iTach Serial Feedback Questions

You are correct the feedback client should continue to process feedback. That sounds like it could be a defect. Let me do some testing and I'll let you know the results. Thanks for sending.

Re: Global Cache WF2IR

Each Global Caché button defines its own module & connector addresses. Open the button config for the GC button, click the "Edit" button at the top, and change the connector to 3. 1 is the default. Hope that helps.

Re: Device IP address as a Variable

Hi Tom. Try using the following in the feedback or post script of your buttons: return '[!]'; This forces TC to terminate the connection to the device after sending the command, so the next command will set up a new connection to whatever the current IP address is set to. You can either use this on ...

Re: Rotating Label (text)?

Oh sorry about that. The Mac server has that option. In the Windows server, hold down Ctrl + Shift when you click on a button to rotate it.
